Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Job Summary:
Best Babie Inc.is a leading national distributor of household-recognized brand names for baby, kids, and toy products. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, safe products that support the early stages of life, ensuring the well-being and happiness of both parents and children.
As Best Babie Inc. continues to grow in scale and complexity, we need the professional services of a Marketing Specialist in the Best Babie’s Agency department to help elevate our brands and vendors presence through our marketing efforts. The Marketing Specialist will analyze and execute retail and PR marketing campaigns, for our vendors from domestically to international brands. This position will work strategically with management on marketing programs. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with vendors and Best Babie’s internal team to utilize AI tools and other resources to research the market, prices, and analysis of baby industry data to drive engagement, monitor market trends, drive brand awareness, identify new market opportunities, and implement innovative marketing strategies to ensure our vendors’ growth and success.
The hired individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Marketing Campaign Analysis and Strategy (50%)
· Analyze the performance of our ongoing and potential marketing campaigns using various metrics to develop programs and identify areas for improvement.
· Track and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing plans to ensure they are aligned with vendor objectives and market trends.
· Collaborate with the creative team to gather market data to produce engaging marketing strategies and programs.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis (40%)
· Conduct, analyze, and prepare reports of baby and toy market research to identify customer trends and opportunities in the infant, juvenile, and toy products industries.
· Provide insight into customer demographics, preferences, needs, and behavior to optimize marketing efforts and product offerings.
· Research and analyze competitors and their prices, product offerings, as well as their marketing and distribution programs.
Business Partnership Management (10%)
· Cultivate relationships with our existing network of media buyers, media agencies, vendors, suppliers, and influencers to drive brand awareness and marketing campaign success.
· Attend numerous tradeshows throughout the year to establish new relationships and represent the company’s interests, enhancing vendor visibility and expanding partnership opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
· Master's degree in marketing or a related field with coursework in marketing.
· 1 year’s work experience analyzing commercial marketing campaigns and operations (including online content) to develop consistent brand image and strong customer engagement.
· High interest and passion for baby products.
· Proficiency in Adobe Software, Canva, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Office.
· Area(s) (geographic scope): The locations of these tradeshows are usually located within the U.S. at unanticipated sites as the location of these tradeshows may vary and are set by thehosting organizations.
· Frequency: The offered Marketing Specialist position will travel to approximately no more than six (6) tradeshows in a given year, where the offered position will attend approximately 1 to 3 days for each tradeshow.
